Observal was created in 2008 as a thematic webportal for the monitoring and analysis developed in Spain on the procedures for recognition of professional competences acquired through work experience and/or non-formal and informal training paths.
Observal develops a line of research and intervention focused on adult learning and the recognition of personal and professional competences. This initiative is open to participation and collaboration between people and institutions interested in the field of lifelong learning. This project is framed within the European guidelines related to validation of non-formal and informal learning.
